Privacy Policy

FirstCommit ("the app") is operated by Savitech Software Solutions ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the app collects, how it is used, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Account details: your name, email address, password (stored only as a secure hash) and, if you provide it, your phone number.
- Profile and career information: skills, education, work experience, target role, location and work preferences you enter. Employers also provide company name and job title.
- Documents you upload: resumes and job descriptions (PDF, DOCX or TXT).
- Interview content: your answers in AI mock interviews. In voice mode the app uses your microphone only while you are answering; your speech is converted to text to evaluate your answer.
- Jobs and applications: job listings employers post and applications candidates submit.
- Technical data: basic request logs (such as IP address and time) kept for security and troubleshooting.
How we use it
- To create and secure your account, including sending email verification codes.
- To provide the app's features: resume analysis and ATS scoring, resume building, AI mock interviews and feedback, career recommendations, and matching candidates with jobs.
- To keep the service safe and working, and to fix problems.
We do not sell your personal information and do not use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
- AI processing: resume text, job descriptions and interview answers are sent to Google's Gemini API to generate analysis, questions and feedback. Google processes this data under its own terms.
- Email delivery: your email address is used with Google's Gmail service to send verification codes.
- Employers: when you apply to a job, or appear in candidate search, employers on FirstCommit can see the profile information relevant to hiring.
- When required by law.
Storage and security
Data is stored on our servers and sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Passwords are hashed and access to your data requires your sign-in.
Keeping and deleting your data
We keep your data while your account exists. You can delete your account at any time in the app (Settings → Delete account) or on our account deletion page. Deleting your account permanently removes your profile, resumes, interviews, applications, uploaded files and any jobs and company you created. Server logs are removed automatically within 30 days.
Children
FirstCommit is intended for people aged 16 and over who are preparing for or looking for work. It is not directed at children.
Changes
We will update this page if the policy changes and change the date above.
